Have an idea for a project? We help you test it, find the right European partner, and bring everyone together under one clear, legally binding agreement.

Every great project starts with an idea, but an idea on its own is not yet a project. With our New Project Idea service, you bring the idea and Westfalen Trading does the groundwork. We carefully evaluate your proposal: is it practical, who will it benefit, and what will it take to deliver? Then we go looking for European stakeholders who could be interested in helping to implement it.
When a suitable stakeholder is found and everyone is ready to move forward, three partners come together: Westfalen Trading, you as the Project Owner, and the European Stakeholder. The three of you sign one legally binding contract that spells out, in plain terms, who does what, what each side contributes and how the project will be run. Everyone knows where they stand before the work begins, and the project rests on a clear, fair and enforceable foundation.
Each step is simple, and you always know what comes next.
Tell us about the project you have in mind, in your own words. You do not need a full technical write-up to get started.
Westfalen Trading assesses your proposal: is it realistic, what would it need to succeed, and where could it make the greatest difference?
We look for European stakeholders who could be interested in taking part in the implementation, and introduce you to them.
If the match works, Westfalen Trading, the Project Owner and the European Stakeholder sign a legally binding contract with clearly written terms of engagement.
A successful project needs more than a good idea. It needs the right people, with clearly defined roles.
Evaluates the proposed project, searches for interested European stakeholders and coordinates the process, so that the project moves forward in an organized way.
That is you: the person or organization with the idea. You bring the vision, the local knowledge and the need that the project will address.
A European company or organization interested in helping to implement the project, typically bringing expertise, resources, or both.
One agreement binds all three. Rather than relying on handshakes or scattered emails, every partner signs the same contract, with the same terms.
Roles, responsibilities and expectations are written down before any work begins, so there are no surprises later.
A legally binding contract gives all three parties confidence that commitments will be honoured.
Evaluating the idea first helps you learn whether it is ready to move forward, and how to strengthen it, before major time and money are committed.
Westfalen Trading draws on its relationships with manufacturers, technology providers and engineering firms across North Rhine-Westphalia and the wider European market.
Westfalen Trading does not just make an introduction. It is a party to the agreement and stays committed to the success of the project.
Plain-language terms mean every party understands what it is agreeing to, which builds trust from the start.
Before work begins, the three partners sign one legally binding contract. We keep the language plain, so that every party knows exactly what it is agreeing to. A typical agreement spells out:
